Fallout 76 Press & Creator Event: To promote the latest edition of Fallout 76, video game publisher, Bethesda Softworks invited press and creators from around the world to New York City. This iconic franchise, launched the award-winning series “Fallout” on Amazon Prime. Bethesda released this new title which merges the storylines, creating an experience that expands their gamer base to include everyone that learned about it through Hollywood.
I worked as a junior designer doing research looking for “in-game” environments that we could recreate inside the Microsoft Experience Center on Fifth Avenue. During the build, I was a production assistant helping with the load-in, scenery layout, set dressing and photography.
Ultimately, we created an experience for 20 media professionals at a time over a two day period. The experience included 20 gaming stations, a theater experience, an interview area, catering, a bar and multiple photo opportunities for creators to have fun.
